I’m a bee and a flower floosie. I love flowers. And I love gardens with
flowers growing for me. They are all for me, aren’t they? I know, you saw me one
day- a tear in my eye because I had no flowers to tend to so you planted me a
garden. You filled it in with sunflowers and salvias and lavender. Have you ever
thought about planting some asters for my fall
menu? Those daisy-like flowers are simply scrumpdilicious, and my best friend,
the little golden butterfly loves them too.
Asters. Just when I think the great summer harvest has
come to a close, here come my little friends. I’m partial to the purple ones but
the white and pink are just as divine. I can’t help but go absolutely crazy over
their sweet faces. They all know my name and I must pay ample attention to each
of them lest one becomes jealous as asters have known to
become.
So
please, plant some asters. You’ll have glorious fall blooms for bouquets but
best of all; you’ll have me in your garden –
Humbleee yours,
Priscilla the Bee
What do you suppose?
A bee sat on my nose.
Then what do you think?
He gave me a wink
And said, “I beg your pardon,
I thought you were the garden.”
